Wo am I?
Thanks for asking! I like to keep myself busy.
Rescue dog dad, musician, artist, photographer, woodworker, home garage mechanic, golfer... you get the idea. I have played with various bands ranging from 50's & 60's, to Country, to Top 40, to Rock & Roll and Tributes bands. I have been the band leader, front man, guitar player, road crew, truck driver, and in every case, I was a lead singer.
If you are considering an event where live music would fit right in, then I want to hear from you.
Whether it's a wedding ceremony, reception, cocktails, corporate event, barbecue... you name it, I can find a way to make it great!
'A great song should lift your heart, warm your soul, and make you feel good.' Colbie Caillat
So… who is he and why is he here?
Kokopelli
The true origin of the sacred flute playing prankster is still a bit of a mystery, but he has been a part of Southwestern US Native Indian legend for generations. Whatever his true meaning is, he is a source of music making and dancing, and spreading joy to those around him. I first discovered the myth and the lore of Kokopelli while on vacation in Arizona. I have since incorporated him into my life to remind me that like Kokopelli, I am also here to spread joy through my music.
'Music touches us emotionally, where words alone can't.' Johnny Depp
Is that your real name?
Yes, ‘Dice’ really is my family name. Par-O-Dice was a name that was used by my late father for various businesses that he was involved in, and I know he is happy that the name is being used again. The label here was from my Dad's cherry orchard in Prince Edward County. The old barn, and the cherry orchards are still there.
